Links London Lady Joins the Action Figure Trend
At Links London, we’ve always blended heritage with innovation. So when we noticed the surge in AI-generated action figures taking over social media, we knew it was time to put our own spin on it. The result? The Links London Lady—our brand muse, style icon, and now, fully realised as an AI-generated action figure.
Using Sora, OpenAI’s video generation model, we created a series of stylised visuals that reimagine the Links London aesthetic in the collectible action figure format. This trend, where brands and artists reimagine real-life personalities, fashion icons, or entirely fictional muses as hyper-detailed toy figures, is nostalgic, satirical, and entirely on-brand for a modern revival brand like ours.
Why Join the Trend?
The Links London Lady represents timeless femininity, elegance, and strength. As we restore and reimagine vintage Links of London jewellery, especially the iconic Sweetie Bracelet, we wanted to celebrate her as a cultural figure. The action figure medium allowed us to showcase our muse as both nostalgic and futuristic—just like our jewellery.
Sora enabled us to visualise and animate this concept with stunning detail. We explored textures, packaging, movement, and accessories to create a character who feels like she belongs on a shelf and a catwalk.
