The Links of London Narrative Bracelet is a later-period design that combines the structured feel of a bangle with the adjustability of the house’s Friendship-style fastening.
Crafted in sterling silver and originally offered in an 18ct yellow gold-vermeil finish, the bracelet is built from three curved semi-rigid sections joined by circular links. A fine recessed row of rounded beads runs along the outer edge, giving the otherwise clean form the decorative detail associated with the Narrative collection.
The result is refined, flexible and distinctly more architectural than a conventional chain bracelet.

Three Curved Sections
The main body of the bracelet is formed from three solid curved sections.
Each section measures approximately 4mm wide × 2.5mm thick, giving the bracelet enough substance to hold its shape while remaining comfortable around the wrist.
The three sections are joined by two approximately 7mm diameter rings. These articulated connections allow the bracelet to move naturally while preserving the clean semi-rigid structure.

The Narrative Beaded Edge
A recessed line of small rounded beads follows the outer edge of the curved sections.
This fine detailing is consistent with the wider Narrative design language, where polished surfaces are often framed or accented by subtle bead or bubble-like decoration.
The beaded edge is deliberately restrained. It adds texture without overwhelming the bracelet’s clean proportions.

An Adjustable Friendship-Style Fastening
At the rear, the bracelet uses an adjustable slider system closely related to the fastening language used on Links of London Friendship bracelets.
Two chain tails pass through a rounded branded slider bead, allowing the bracelet to be opened widely for fitting and then tightened to the preferred wrist size.
The slider bead measures approximately 10mm in diameter × 7mm thick, while each adjustment chain is around 6cm long.
The two chain ends continue beyond the slider, creating the characteristic tassel effect.

Adjustable Wrist Fit
The bracelet can be worn across a useful range of wrist sizes.
A surviving example adjusts from approximately:
- 5cm × 3.5cm internally at the smaller setting
- 6.5cm × 4.5cm internally at the larger normal wearing setting

The mechanism opens further than this when the bracelet is being put on or taken off, so these measurements represent the practical wearing range rather than the full possible opening.

18ct Gold Vermeil and Restored Gold Plate
Surviving retailer records identify the original gold version as an 18ct yellow gold vermeil Narrative Bracelet over sterling silver.
A restored vintage example may have had its gold surface professionally renewed. In that case, the present finish is best described according to the work actually carried out.
Where a fresh layer of 18ct yellow gold plating has been applied, but the thickness has not been independently confirmed to meet the technical definition of vermeil, 18ct gold plated sterling silver is the more precise description.

Later Production Markings
A surviving example is hallmarked LL, 925 but carries no date letter.
That is consistent with later Links of London production, but without a dated hallmark an exact manufacture year should not be assigned.
The bracelet therefore belongs securely to the original Links of London period without requiring a speculative date.

A Bracelet Between Bangle and Chain
One of the most interesting aspects of the design is that it does not sit neatly within a single traditional bracelet category.
It has the structure and visual presence of a bangle, but the articulated ring connections and adjustable slider give it some of the flexibility of a chain bracelet.
That hybrid construction is part of what makes the Narrative Bracelet distinctive.

The Design in Context
The Links of London Narrative Bracelet is a strong example of the later original house combining familiar Links mechanisms with a more refined, structured silhouette.
Three curved sections provide the form.
Two rings provide movement.
A recessed beaded edge gives the bracelet its Narrative identity.
And the Friendship-style slider makes the fit adjustable rather than fixed.
In 18ct gold, the whole design takes on a warmer character while retaining the understated detailing that defines the collection.
