2007 Limited Edition Links of London Heart-Link Friendship Bracelet

2007 Limited Edition Links of London Heart-Link Friendship Bracelet – Sterling Silver

Limited Edition of 600

In 2007, Links of London added a rare and romantic twist to its now-iconic friendship bracelet line: a limited edition design featuring heart-shaped sterling silver links, hand-braided cord, and a heart-shaped clasp. Released in a run of just 600 pieces worldwide, this model has since become a collector’s favourite — known for its distinctive design and subtle luxury.

At the time, Links of London was known for reinventing traditional friendship bracelets with high-quality materials and playful details. But this bracelet pushed the boundaries further. Instead of the usual silver bars or round links, this edition used 37 solid sterling silver heart links, each approximately 13mm wide and 3.5mm thick. They were strung onto a purple and yellow woven cord — a bold, joyful colour pairing that hinted at springtime or possibly a Valentine’s Day release.

The bracelet was secured by an adjustable heart-shaped toggle clasp made from sterling silver. Measuring 14mm wide, 12mm high, and 8mm thick, the clasp was engraved with the Links of London logo, the words “Limited edition”, and stamped with the full 2007 hallmarks — LL 925 and the date letter ‘h’. The sliding bolo-style mechanism made it easily adjustable to fit wrists from 12cm to 22cm.

A Rarity Among Collectors

While the friendship bracelet line became a staple of the Links of London catalogue, most designs were mass-produced in a variety of seasonal colours. This version, however, stood apart. Its combination of heart links, vibrant cord, and full hallmarks made it instantly recognisable and difficult to replicate. It wasn’t just jewellery — it was a sentimental token from a moment in time.

The piece came packaged in a vintage Links of London oval gift box, in keeping with the brand’s signature presentation during its peak years. Because it was never reissued and not widely distributed, examples of the 2007 heart-link bracelet are scarce today. Many collectors regard it as one of the most charming, original, and underappreciated designs from the entire friendship range.

Legacy

As with many of Links of London’s finest creations, this bracelet was quietly discontinued when the company went into administration in 2019. Today, it lives on as a beautifully preserved example of the brand’s creativity and craftsmanship — a rare object of affection for those who remember the original stores, the original Sweetie stack, and the excitement of spotting someone wearing something just a little bit different.

If you’re lucky enough to find one — especially in New Old Stock condition with its original box — you’re holding a piece of design history that represents not only friendship, but the spirit of a much-loved British brand at its creative best.
