Hatton Garden, London
Hatton Garden has long been synonymous with jewellery excellence in London. For decades, we have worked with multi-generational gemstone dealers based in this historic district. Their unparalleled expertise and trustworthiness are essential in a market known for its complexities, ensuring that every gemstone we source meets our exacting standards of quality and authenticity.
The Birmingham Jewellery Quarter
Renowned for its skilled artisans and historic workshops, the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter plays a vital role in the creation of our jewellery. While all models, moulds, and wax prototypes are meticulously crafted in our London workshop, we rely on the expertise of specialist casting companies in Birmingham to bring these designs to life. Collaborating with professionals who utilize recycled metals supplied by Heimerle + Meule GmbH, we ensure that each piece meets our sustainability aims while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
The Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office
For centuries, hallmarking has been a hallmark of trust. We ensure the authenticity and quality of our precious metal pieces through hallmarking by The Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office, one of the oldest and most respected institutions in the world. This process underscores our commitment to British craftsmanship and tradition. Historically, Links of London used the Edinburgh Assay Office for hallmarking. While the reasons for this choice remain unclear, it may have been due to factors such as maker's mark availability, cost efficiency, or speed of service.
Heimerle + Meule GmbH
We are proud to source 100% recycled gold and silver from Heimerle + Meule GmbH, a leader in sustainable precious metal refining. Their dedication to responsible practices aligns with our vision of creating jewellery that is as ethical as it is beautiful.
GIA-Certified Gemstones
For select collections, we source gemstones certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), ensuring the highest standards of quality and authenticity. These gemstones carry a legacy of trust and excellence, making them the perfect choice for our designs.
Gem-A Qualified Gemmologists
Our in-house team includes Gem-A trained and qualified gemmologists, bringing expertise and precision to every step of the design process. From selecting the finest gemstones to crafting pieces that stand the test of time, our commitment to excellence is unwavering.
British Horological Institute (BHI)
Our team has studied basic horology at the British Horological Institute (BHI), earning qualifications as technicians. While we do not call ourselves watchmakers, we possess the skills to assemble, disassemble, service, and repair timepieces to a professional standard. This expertise ensures that any timepieces we work on reflect the same quality and care as our jewellery collections.
