Jewellery Care Instructions
- Sterling Silver: Clean regularly with a silver polishing cloth to prevent tarnishing. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals.
- Gold: Gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using paper towels or tissues, as they may scratch the surface.
- Gemstones: Wipe stones with a damp cloth. Never soak porous gemstones (e.g., opals or pearls) in water, and avoid contact with oils and chemicals that may dull the stones.
- Enamel: Enamel charms or jewellery should be cleaned carefully with a soft cloth. Avoid exposing enamel to extreme heat or chemicals, as this may cause discolouration or damage.
.Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Ideally, use the original jewellery box or a soft pouch.
Keep pieces separate to avoid scratching, especially for items with delicate surfaces or stones. You can use anti-tarnish strips for silver jewellery.
Avoid moisture: Moisture can accelerate tarnishing in silver and damage stones. Ensure your jewellery is completely dry before storing.
- Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, or participating in activities where excessive perspiration could occur. Chlorine, salt water, and chemicals can damage precious metals and gemstones.
- Apply perfumes, lotions, and hairspray before wearing jewellery to avoid chemical reactions that can tarnish metals and weaken stones.
- Be cautious when wearing rings or bracelets while performing manual tasks, as certain gemstones or softer metals (like gold) may scratch or chip.
Jewellery Size Guide
- Measuring your size: Use a ring sizer or visit a jeweller for precise measurement. Alternatively, measure a well-fitting ring’s internal diameter and compare it to a size chart.
- Ring size tips: Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are warm for a more accurate fit.
- Sweetie Bracelets: Measure your wrist and add 1-2 cm for a comfortable, flexible fit that allows movement but stays secure.
- Charm Bracelets: For a snug fit that holds charms securely, measure your wrist and add 0.5 cm to 1 cm.
- Standard Lengths:
- 16 inches: Falls at the base of the neck, perfect for a classic, close-fitting look.
- 18 inches: Sits on the collarbone, ideal for most pendant necklaces.
- 20 inches: Falls just below the collarbone for a slightly looser fit.
- 24 inches and above: These longer styles fall over the chest and are perfect for layering or statement pieces.
- Choker sizing: For a snug choker fit, measure around your neck and add 1-2 cm.
