Vintage Links of London Sterling Silver Cross Pendant Charm

A simple and substantial design from the original Links of London years, this Vintage Links of London Sterling Silver Cross Pendant Charm is crafted in sterling silver with a clean Latin-cross form and softly rounded ends.

At 20mm high and 15mm wide, it is considerably larger than the Links of London Mini Cross Charm and has the proportions and presence of a small pendant rather than a conventional charm. Its plain polished surfaces keep the design restrained and timeless, allowing the cross itself to remain the focus.

Although designed primarily as a pendant, the standard Links of London oval bail also allows it to be worn on a suitable bracelet. In that context it works particularly well as a larger hero charm, giving more visual weight than the smaller charms in the collection.

Hallmarked for 2009, the pendant has been professionally cleaned and polished and is in great condition. A split ring is supplied for Sweetie bracelet attachment.

A Pendant by Design

Although the standard Links of London bail gives the piece the same practical versatility as many charms, its size and proportions make it better understood first as a pendant.

The cross is large enough to sit clearly at the centre of a necklace, with a clean silhouette and enough surface area for the polished sterling silver to catch the light. Compared with the smaller Mini Cross Charm, this design has substantially more visual presence.

A Large Hero Charm

The same scale that makes the piece effective as a pendant also allows it to work as a larger focal charm on a bracelet.

Rather than blending into a group of smaller motifs, it can act as a central or hero piece within a Sweetie bracelet arrangement. The supplied split ring allows it to be attached in this way while preserving the option of wearing it separately as a pendant.
