A playful miniature design from the original Links of London charm archive, this Vintage Links of London Red Enamel Lollipop Charm is crafted in sterling silver and modelled as a round lolly on a long polished stick.

The rounded top is decorated with curved bands of red enamel, creating the appearance of a striped confectionery sweet. The contrast between the polished silver and coloured enamel gives the compact design a clear, cheerful identity.

Known by the original Links of London product reference 5030.1247, the charm is hallmarked for 2009. It is fitted with the standard Links of London oval bail and can be worn on a suitable necklace or bracelet. A split ring is supplied for Sweetie bracelet attachment.

A Sterling Silver Sweet

The design transforms a familiar lollipop into a small piece of jewellery. Its circular top, long straight stick and curved red stripes make the subject immediately recognisable, while the polished sterling silver gives the charm a more refined finish.

Rather than reproducing a particular branded sweet, the design captures the general appearance of a traditional striped lolly. It belongs to the playful side of the original Links of London archive, where food, drinks and familiar objects were recreated as miniature silver charms.

Red Enamel Detail

The red enamel remains intact within the recessed stripes across the rounded top. These coloured bands introduce depth and contrast, helping the lollipop form remain clear despite its small scale.

Because enamel requires more cautious cleaning than plain sterling silver, the amount of polishing possible around the coloured sections is necessarily limited. Light marks from previous wear remain visible, consistent with the charm’s age and use.

Wearability

The charm’s narrow vertical form makes it particularly suitable for wearing as a small pendant, although it can also be added to a bracelet.

The standard 9mm × 7mm oval bail will accommodate a suitable necklace or bracelet up to 5mm wide. A split ring is included for attachment to a Links of London Sweetie bracelet.

The charm has been professionally cleaned and polished and is in good vintage condition. The red enamel remains intact.
