This vintage Links of London bracelet is a distinctive sterling silver design centred on a Concorde-shaped toggle clasp, paired with a suspended apple charm and a chain of polished oval links. Hallmarked LL, 925 with a date letter for 1999, it belongs to a period of Links of London design in which travel, place and recognisable motifs were translated into wearable silver pieces.
The bracelet measures approximately 19cm in length and is formed from oval links measuring approximately 8mm wide. The Concorde toggle measures approximately 23mm long, 9mm wide and 3mm high, creating a clear focal point at the fastening. Suspended near the clasp is a polished apple charm measuring approximately 9mm high and 9mm in diameter, adding a second motif that gives the design its particular identity.
Together, the Concorde and apple motifs suggest a reference to the celebrated London to New York route, with the apple reading naturally as a nod to the Big Apple. That interpretation sits comfortably within the late 1990s Links of London design language, where travel, destination and symbolic forms were often distilled into polished sterling silver designs. The result is a bracelet that feels both characterful and highly specific to its period.
The bracelet also reflects Concorde’s place in British travel history and its association with prestige transatlantic journeys. Within that context, the pairing of Concorde and apple motifs gives the design an added layer of appeal, linking it to one of the most recognisable aviation routes of its era while remaining wearable as a clean, understated silver bracelet.
This bracelet has been professionally cleaned and polished and is in great vintage condition. It is supplied with a vintage Links of London bracelet box. The box shows signs of age, including some peeling and marks from years of storage, but remains useful for presentation and storage.
