Design and Craftsmanship

The Links of London Classic Round features a polished gold-plated stainless-steel case distinguished by elegant bow-style lugs—a modern nod to the bows of antique pocket watches. A domed mineral crystal and rounded crown set with a black cabochon complete the quietly sophisticated profile.

Dial and Movement

A white enamel-effect dial displays black Roman numerals with polished leaf-shaped hands and a discreet date at 3 o’clock. Inside beats a dependable Miyota 2015 quartz movement, freshly fitted with a Renata 377 battery and tested for accuracy.

Size and Fit

With a 31mm case diameter and 40mm lug-to-lug length, this model reflects the classic mid-century men’s dress-watch proportion—refined, balanced and effortlessly wearable. Today it appeals equally to gentlemen who favour traditional sizing and to ladies who prefer a more tailored, contemporary wrist presence. The 10mm profile slips neatly beneath a cuff or bracelet.

Strap and Buckle

Paired with a cream crocodile-pattern genuine-leather strap, 16mm at the lugs and approximately 23cm in total length. The strap appears unused but, as with all vintage leather, light natural ageing may be visible. It fastens with a gold-plated buckle engraved with the Links of London three-ring logo and uses a standard 16mm spring-bar fitting for easy future replacement.

Condition and Service

Excellent unworn condition. Original protective case-back sticker present (lifting slightly at the edges). Crystal is clear and free from scratches. Professionally serviced: battery replaced, seals lubricated, case and bracelet lightly cleaned. As with all vintage watches, water resistance is not guaranteed and exposure to moisture or steam should be avoided.

Acquired from a private seller and believed to be an unused or unwanted gift. Supplied in a vintage oval Links of London storage box (not original to the watch). No papers or swing tags included.

Vintage Condition and Important Information

This watch is an original vintage Links of London timepiece that has been carefully preserved and professionally serviced for The Vault. We prefer to retain as much of each watch’s originality as possible, so while the movement, seals and battery have been checked and serviced, components such as the glass and case seals have not been replaced unless necessary. As a result, water resistance cannot be guaranteed.

Light signs of age are visible, consistent with the watch’s period and authentic character. These are part of what makes each restored Links of London piece unique. Future servicing could include full resealing and pressure testing if water resistance is required.

All watches offered in The Vault are tested for function and accuracy at the time of sale and presented in working order, but they are vintage collector’s items and not supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty.
