Links of London Onyx and Mother-of-Pearl Tusk Cufflinks
These vintage chain-link cufflinks from the former Links of London company combine sterling silver with double-ended tusks: one end in polished black onyx and the other in mother-of-pearl. Either end can be worn facing outward.
Each tusk measures approximately 25mm long and tapers from approximately 7mm to 3mm. The connecting chain measures approximately 18mm.
The chain links carry LL and 925 marks with a 2006 date letter. We consider those marks alongside the complete hallmark evidence, materials, construction, design and condition when assessing the pair. The date letter relates to assay in 2006; it does not establish the design’s release or manufacture date.
The cufflinks have been professionally cleaned and polished. Please review the photographs for their current surface condition.
