Vintage Links of London Sterling Silver Chain Charm Bracelet 19cm

A classic charm-carrying bracelet from the original Links of London years, this Vintage Links of London Sterling Silver Chain Charm Bracelet combines substantial polished silver links with the familiar Links of London toggle fastening.

The bracelet uses a repeating figaro-style arrangement of elongated oval links connected by groups of smaller oval links, creating a strong but flexible chain that can be worn alone or used as a traditional charm bracelet.

This example measures approximately 19.5cm from end to end when laid flat. Because the T-bar passes through the oval toggle ring when fastened, the effective wearable bracelet length is approximately 19cm. We therefore describe it as the 19cm version.

The bracelet is marked LL, 925 but carries no date letter, so an exact production year is not assigned.

It has been professionally cleaned and polished and presents with a bright sterling silver finish while retaining light signs of previous wear consistent with its vintage age.

A Traditional Charm Bracelet

The open silver links make this bracelet particularly well suited to carrying charms. Split rings or suitable charm connectors can be attached directly to the chain, allowing the bracelet to develop gradually as charms are added.

Its heavier chain construction also gives it a different character from the elasticated Sweetie bracelet, making it a more traditional interpretation of a charm bracelet.

Alternating Link Construction

The bracelet is built around elongated oval links measuring approximately 15mm × 7mm, separated by groups of smaller approximately 8mm × 7mm oval links.

This alternating rhythm gives the chain both visual interest and flexibility while providing plenty of practical attachment points for charms.

The 19cm Wearable Length

Measured fully extended from end to end, the bracelet is approximately 19.5cm long.

That is not the same as its effective worn length. When the curved T-bar is passed through the oval toggle ring, part of the overall length is taken up by the fastening itself, resulting in an approximate wearable length of 19cm.

This distinction corrects the inconsistent measurements previously recorded for an earlier example of the same design.
