No. Although seals were re-greased during servicing, water resistance cannot be guaranteed due to the watch’s age.

This design was part of what made the Sweetie collection so iconic — offering a smooth, slip-on fit that moves naturally with the wrist.

Like leather or fabric straps, the elastic cord is a wearable component that will gradually stretch or weaken with age and use. Over time, the cord may require replacement or re-stringing to maintain strength and fit. This is normal and expected with all elasticated jewellery.

The bracelet can be restrung again in the future by any competent jeweller, watch specialist, or experienced DIY restorer. The process is straightforward and widely supported by independent services and guides available online.

Each watch offered in The Vault has been professionally restrung and checked for security. Regular care and sensible handling will help preserve the integrity of the bracelet for years to come.
